hello sir i am karthik from tirupati andhra pradesh. i have a question to you. recently i have done test drive of all new maruti swift petrol top variant ZXI. the ride was very nice and smooth handling. i am satisfied with all the comforts in the vehicle and also advanced safety features set up in top variant. i am also planning to take test drive of diesel top variant ZDI. now my question is though the top variants of both versions(ZXI AND ZDI)are fully loaded with all safety features why they have been priced too costly. especially the diesel top variant ZDI costs around 7,60,000 RS on road price in tirupati andhra pradesh.the price is too heavy for a customer to invest for such a small vehicle. customer will definitely think of it before investing for it. and petrol variant ZXI also is very costly priced on road of 6,67,000 in tirupati. if we compare this vehicle i.e. the all new swift with toyota etios liva, liva being 1.4litre 1400cc(1364 inbuilt displacement) D4D diesel engine comes for a price tag of 7,04,000 on road in tirupati though it does not have alloy wheels, rest remaining the same including airbags and abs and also it gives mileage of 24 kmpl thatt means more than mileage of swift diesel. even the basic model comes with all the features included except airbags. this is a big thinkable issue from customer point of view. please kindly help me in this regard. also suggest me whether i can buy diesel variant or petrol variant vehicle as i will be going for long trips in emergency and occasionally. also please tell me how much a diesel vehicle approximately costs for each servicing when it goes for service dues.

Really Mr. Karthik, Both Toyota and Maruti offer very good service quality and with very good two engines offering.
Comparing the two , many cost cutting factors are seen in Liva as single wiper, Manual AC, Flip Door handles, Integrated head rest, Poor Plastics and the list goes on even in top variants. As of swift the Z variants doesn't have such cost cutting, feel premium and much more upmarket. Investing in Swift for more Luxury is advisable as Liva may give you cheap feeling even investing much. However if cost is really constraint factor then you may go ahead with Liva as Toyota's reliability and economic factors won't let you down. Posted: 2390 day(s) ago |
