Go for new swift zdi. Its such a nice car. New liva interior look like cheap.

Yes, I totally agree with Mr. Anil with respect to the Interior part of the new Etios Liva.
The seats are not at all comfy. It gives even worst feel than the Maruti 800.
The total plastics are very cheap & it makes the feel even worst than the Nano. Only the good part is the AC Grills.

Also the Acoustic insulation is very poor & due to the same, it makes noise as like as Jeep.

Only the +ve trail is the Milage of the car, Toyota sales persons claim 24KMPL with AC which really makes an appeal but still needs to be cross checked properly.

New Swift i think the today's best hatch back in the market.
Ddis engines have proved a great performance & all customers are happy. So i think Swift would be the best option.

For the kind of usage,requirments mentioned Swift VDi would be better for proven performance and mileage.

IF THE BUDGET IS NOT A PROBLEM THEN NEW SWIFT ZDI IS BEST,OTHERWISE VDI.

When there was no Liva Diesel you would be forgiven for buying the Swift Diesel. However after driving the world class Liva from Toyota (the masters of diesel engine) I would give first preference despite it being available in only one trim level.
If you need more show and frills rather than a more wholesome vehicle, then you should go for the Swift Diesel with its "rally tuned" suspension. The Liva is more compact from the outside. Take your pick after a test drive.

Try out the Ritz diesel variant. It' more spacious that the Swift.
