Hi,
Ground clearance can be increased with suitable modifications to suspension system. However the drive quality, aerodynamics would change accordingly and has to be taken care.

Last June (5th June '14 to be specific), I bought a brand new Ford Figo Titanium . I did a lot of research prior to buying it and price was the main factor, so went for Figo.

Following morning, me, my mother and my sisters family went to Mysore for car pooja. The drive till Mysore was very pleasant, but found a strange problem!
My mother, sister, niece and my sister's mother in law, all were sitting at the back with handful of luggage in the rear. Whenever we faced speed breaker on an uneven road, the lower rear body (or something) used to touch the breaker.

This got me worried and since then I've been reading lots of stuff to increase the height at the rear.

Experts, please guide me how I raise the rear shocks at minimum cost. Please let me know if I need to change the shocks. I need the height to be raised by 2-4 inches.
