If you are happy with the car otherwise, you should go for the CNG Kit. You will loose a lot of value for practically new car.

In this value you will be able to fit the kit as well as compensate for the lose of warranty.

Its not prudent to sell a car purchased in Feb-11. A-star is definitely a fuel efficient car in its segment. As somebody suggested it is better to retain the car and go for a CNG kit (only if there is a huge advantage in fuel cost). Drive the car for atleast 3 years before considering a change. I have lost quite a lot of money in changing the cars and now finally settled with SANTRO which is quite good.

No way, do not sell your car. Better to go for CNG.

Hi,
For the kind of usage mentioned,You can get the CNG kit fittment done through the dealer it self or directly from authorised CNG kit fittment center afte ensuring warranty is not affected.Different shapes of CNG tank are available with which space is not affected much hence worth going for the same.

I am having the same opinion of Mr Narayanan. CNG kit you can fit the space of the stepeny tyre. The tyres of A star is tubeless May be JK vectra so puncture is impossible in 70 to 100 kms in single stretch .First go and show it a good cng fitting centre ask them about this type of tank.
