First of all I take this opportunity to congratulate the whole team behind Car Trade India as they are doing a fantastic job. The website is done very professionally and full of information. My 1st question is with growing car sales and competiton between the various franchieses what is the future of car trade-in buisiness. How far it is an important tool in selling new cars to the customers. My 2nd question is how safe are the low cost cars in India. Are these low cost cars which is likely to catch up in India in next 2 years so is compromising on safety standards. Thanks and wishing all the best to the team behind Car trade india.

Thank you very much for the feedback.
As far as new cars is concerned, customers would tend to look for trouble free cars with warranty back up and as manufacturers make it a point to launch updated versions of cars with overall improvement in performance, features etc. It will boost morality of customers to go for new cars. Hence there would always be demand for new cars.
Regarding low cost cars.Any car before launching will have to go for road worthy test and get approval of safe usage. However there is always scope for better safety featured cars but with higher price tag. While selecting car one has to consider probable utility.Like using in city conditions where there wont be much opportunity to drive at high speeds say 100 and above. If regularly used for high speed driving, its always better to go for cars with high safety standards.
