Mr Shankar ,pls explain how this tech works and what exactly does it do ,im not a technical person but what i think or have heard/experienced is that the car does not roll back on steep gradients ,this tech is used in bigger and costlier cars im not sure pls give a detailed answer if possible.

Come to think of it one has to switch to lower gears to increase the power when going up hill. But imagine a 20 degrees slope or more the car may roll back at times so if you switch to first gear keeping the brakes down the vehicle may still tend to move backwards once the brakes are released. So for a vehicle having auto climb assist or Hill climb assist the brakes are held on for a little longer to enable the car to move ahead once when the accelerator is depressed.THE HILL CLIMB ASSIST IS ACTIVATED ONCE THE CLUTCH AND BRAKE ARE FULLY DEPRESSED AND THE FIRST GEAR IS SELECTED.
