Dear Mr Shiva,
I found in a few websites that there was a difference in the mileage between variants of the same model. Specifically, The i20 CRDI asta is supposed to be giving a Km less per litre of Diesel than i20 CRDI Magna or i20 CRDI Sportz.
Is that true? Why should there be a difference when allof them have same engine and transmission?

i am too surprised seeing such thing.
i own i20 crdi asta and getting 15kmpl in city with ac.

the information given i suppose is wrong as as sportz model of i20 also have alloys so why not i20 sportz give less mileage too.

check out the original ARAI mileage on hyundai website and its surprising to see same car, same engine and same weight has difference of 1kmpl in mileage.

Hi,
ARAI approved mileage are the figures under standard conditions.Similar capacity engine for the same model would give almost same mileage unless variation is ther e in transmissions ie wether it is manual or Automatic transmissions versions.
