In Maruthi LXI is the full option compared to LX. In LX there will be only a/c. but in LXI there will be a/c and power steering. This is the basic diffrence.

As far as my knowledge is concerned, in addition to differences mentioned by Mr. Tom, LXI carries intelligent key with special software (perfectly identical key will not work because of this software),LX does not carry such software.

In case of earlier models up to 2005 POWER Steering + Front windows.
