I would suggest you to go in for Wagon R. It gives you decent mileage and good performance and low maintenance compared to Indica. And moreover a petrol India is not a ideal choice.

The comparison should be ideally between the Wagon R and the Indica Vista Quadrajet. The selection would again depend on your daily run. If it is lower than 60 Kms then the WagonR would be a good choice. Above 60 Kms the Indica Vista quadrajet with its diesel engine will be a better bet. Pls don't even think of comparing the indica vista saffire with WagonR. If u r looking at a car for daily office commute or family(3-4 members) car, the Chevy Spark is fantastic option with absolutely no expenditure on maintenance for 3 years.

Any Day any time Wagon R is better if you want to use the car for a long time. Rest already answered.

Wagon-R is the better choice as compared to Indica. The space in the Trunk (Dicky) is very small and cannot accommodate big Suit-Cases. Moreso, the name and the reliability of the Maruti is much much ahead of Indica. The maintenance cost of Indica is high than Wagon-R.

Go with Indica vista... Wagonr has a boxy design... looks much like a box rather than a car.
Just test drive Indica and u will feel the luxury of a big car as compared to cramped and old wagonr.
