Hi,
From maintenance point Bolero has advantage over Safari. Advantage of Bolero is the comparitively lower maintenance cost,rugged build quality and onroad and offroad capability. Drawback is the poor interiors,styling and henc onroad image.
Tata Safari though cost bit more than Bolero has the advantage of much higher power, great onroad image,comfortable interiors,onroad and offroad capability and proven performance.
The selection greately depends upon the budget range and utility. If limited budget is there and also usage maximum usage in offroading like hilly areas,country roads etc then Bolero would solve the purpose.

Hi Mr.George,

Bolero is strongly built car and easily drivable in hilly terrains, rough roads and excellent road grip on highways, but as righly said its interiors are not so attractive and even dash board, whereas Safari is little big brother in looking and interiors also good, but maintenancewise Bolero is still manageble but safari is more on that part and sparepartswise too. Based on your budget & future spending is concerned think & buy accordingly. As I have Bolero sports & Scorpio, Bolero is a rugged vehicle and I love to drive this more than scorpio specially when I drive it pot hole roads & hilly terrains.
