Though both belong to different segments, to select one Fiat Linea makes a great impression onroad , has better utility, and is reliable too. Hence recommended to go ahead with Linea.

have used linea extensively for 5days. Dont think twice if u can afford iit. I Took it ooty and
then to alleppey and back to chennai in 4 days. Gave mileage around 20 on higheways (diesel) easily. Made a trip of 1000 kms on a single day with my wife who refuses to travel more than 300kms on a day. There was no complaining from her. The suspension, engine and the seats are the best part of it.
Recently bought a punto (diesel) caz it was a mini version of linea and affordable
