I purchased ford figo lxi in June 2010 and driven 970 kms
I purchased ford figo lxi in June 2010 and driven 970 kms. with a mileage of 10 to 11 in Delhi city. With AC on the average is just 7 to 8 kms. I wrote to ford and reminded on its email but they did not reply. I am thinking of installing a CNG kit but dealer told me that the warranty will lapse. Ford is not even replying and if we go for CNG the warranty will lapse. Can anyone tell me about figo's compatibility of CNG kit. what to do in this situation.

Hi,
As the car is still new it wont be worth going for CNG kit and its can also affect warranty. Its wrong on part of Ford innot giving proper replay. It would give bad impression and make people think twice before going for Figo which is otherwise a stylish hatchback. Posted: 3860 day(s) ago |
7-8 Kms is very less and cant affordable please go to LPG/CNG kit where u will get value of car. You know that in a new car there is no need of warranty untill accidental case my suggetion is to go for kit

Hi, Figo Petrol should give minimum of 11 to 12 KMs in the city traffic and may be some thing wrong with your driving style. Also please note that mileage generally increases after the first service. Pl note that I have been driving Ford Ikon petrol for the past six and half years and intitally it was giving just 6 or 7 KMS per ltr. Now I am getting around 10 to 11 in the Chennai traffic. Hence no need to install LPG or CNG kit. Drive properly and the mileage should improve. Also check with the Ford service centre and they will look into it.

i am also looking for a new car in 1.2 petrol and someone told that mileage of ford figo is very less.
i am not surprised seeing 7-8kms in city like delhi and with ac. this car is somewhat better if someone has to buy diesel but yes as your car will get an year older its mileage would bit improve as new engines drink lot of fuel now installing lpg/cng kit. hmm...... i won't suggest you ,since the car is new and in india and new for you too it might be disadvantageous. wait for sometime and DIRECTLY contact your dealer about your car performance. good luck mohammad Posted: 3829 day(s) ago |
