both are diffferent segment cars...1st decide what u desire..4 seater or 5 seater...i20 is good car .it is equipped with a above average power engine in its segment..but if u want hatchback...go for POLO...nd about d DEZIRE its also nice pricewise,servicewise as good network of maruti,nd performance wise too....but i wd suggest manza for dis segment...bcoz its value for money car

both are cars in different segment. however they can still be compared on price. I20 has better cabin space when compared to the dzire. also the interiors are very good in i20. Dzire has extra boot space when compared to i20. If you do not require lot of boot space I would suggest the i20 else the dzire is the one to go for.

i20 has some issues with the ac. Since the cabin is too big the ac is not effective. Also i20 is under powered for its weight also will return lower mileage.
I too was in the same dilemma few weeks ago. My requirement was a car for both city and long cruising. Settled with the punto. The suspension setup in punto is excellent. But the turning radius and poor interior quality is bothering recently. Apart from the drawback mentioned it feels very comfortable. y dont u explore ur choices with a punto?

Hyundai i20 is clearly more impressive onroad and quality of interiors and features are also good.Dzire is well proven and has greater utility due to advantage of extra luggage space of sedan. Considering overall factors Hyundai i20 would be better for stylish small car and Dzire would be better if preference is for utility and reliability.
