i own apache rtr 160.. i have noticed in my bike, its chain keeps on hitting to chain cover. even if i get it tighter soon after some days sound starts coming again. is it be nice decision to remove chain cover. and if it is better to remove chain cover then what precautions i should have.

Hi,
Get a link removed from mechanic and the problem would be solved at least for few thousand km.Later the chain and sprocket set needs to be replaced.

REMOVE CHAIN COVER IS NOT GOOD SOLUTION ...
RECHECK WHERE THE FAULT.. SOME TIME IF HALF AXLE (( SPROAKET AXLE ))GOT DAMAGE SO SETTING NOT BE CORRECT IN FAST RUNNING .
(( BY REMOVING CHAIN COVER CLOTHS MAY BE WASTE BY OIL AND GREECE ))

Don't tight your chain fully give some freeness otherwise it will give sound.apply less oil so it reduce sand dust.,mostly chain damaged by sand dust, so clean your chain oftenly.
