One of the biggest automobile companies in India, Tata Motors has introduced a new multi-utility vehicle, New Sumo Grande in India with two distinct diesel engines. Tata Motors launched a new SUV version of the Sumo platform in January 2008. This new car version was named Tata Sumo Grande, which had been designed in UK with a completely new body work. In December 2009 Tata Motors unveiled a newer version of the Tata Sumo Grande called Grande MK II. There are two types of engine in this vehicle, namely Turbo and DICOR (Direct Injection Common Rail).

The New Sumo Grande Car Price is between Rs. 5.85 lacs and 8 lacs in India. These car prices are fixed as per the BS III and BS IV regulations. Grande CX MK II DICOR is available at a price range of Rs. 6.45 lacs to Rs. 6.65 lacs, while Grande LX MK II DICOR is offered between Rs. 6.60 lacs and Rs. 6.75 lacs rupees. The top model Grande GX MK II DICOR is expensive and costs around Rs. 7.73 lacs to Rs. 7.84 lacs rupees.
Pricing strategy of New Grande clearly reflects that this latest product is targeted at the urban and semi-urban segment. Tata Motors started the sales of Sumo Grande from 2008, after the car was unveiled in the Auto Expo. Tata Sumo Grande Exterior
The latest version of Tata Sumo Grande in India has an impressive look due to its beautiful chrome lined grill in front. For enhancing the side profile looks of the car, the manufacturers have inserted chrome side rub rails. To add to the style of the car, the company has also included stylish blinkers on OVRMS with sporty steel wheel rims.
Sumo Grande Cars with large headlights and bulging muscular bonnet maintains the ruggedness of this new variant. The steering wheel has floating horns and is around 380 mm in diameter. It also includes silver coloured inner door handles along with faux rosewood central console.
