        Whats Good

        a) Spacious b) High feeling of comfort and convenience in the car c) Easy manuevrability on busy roads d) Commanding view of the road e)Excellent looks and colour-scheme f)ease of driving and controls g)convenient turning radius

        What Can Improve

        a) Positioning available for two-din music system obstructed by gear lever b)poor mileage c)Severe fogging problem in cold and rainy conditions d) some-what reduced rear boot-space ) Could have been provided with more accessories and features to match all the good pints above, like full climate control, side-door visors, matching in-built well-positioned music and navigation systems so on so forth,

Provide features to match the looks and cost and cars like the XUV

        Whats Good

Looks, comfort, high-speed stability, space, commanding view

        What Can Improve

While everything else about the car is good/ great, I must express my extreme disappointment with my new Safari Storme which takes pride in being a tough SUV. However, far from being tough, I have had to deal with several quality issues within just the first two weeks of ownership (1,500 kms). Just to name a few, each day I have had to face some issue or the other: Cigarette lighter comes off from its socket/ Front driver side door window comes off and wouldn’t close/ Left door search light has fallen off/ Second row seats won’t lock and makes rattling noise. The seats would not align in line as well./ Rear view mirror has a distorted view in night view mode./ The front left door loses alignment and creates a popping sound when closing the door. It has resulted in damaging the door edge./ Front left fender not clip broken./ Front and rear wiper motors makes sound./ Rear wiper squeaks./ Rear fuel lid inside panel clips broken on both sides. With just 1500 kms, this tough SUV rattles/ clatters in several places already (Dashboard, doors, seats, seat belt pulley, indicator switch etc.) I have bought an extended warranty for the fourth year. However, I am wondering with the way things are falling apart, will the tough car last that long?

Buy only if you are ready to deal with the above issues.

        Whats Good

Excellent looks, cabin space, commanding driving position, good engine, excellent suspension and turning radius (for the huge size), king of the road feel, excellent cruise on the highways... Complete value for money considering SUVs smaller and less capable are more expensive. Personally I have driven fortuner, pajero sport, endeavour and the storme is equally capable and comparable. In fact the cabin space and driving position of the storme felt the best. The others are priced higher primarily due to the imported component in them! Just to give a fair comparison the storme costs about 25 lacs + in all countries it's exported to..... Tata needs to market this winner a lot better to make people realise the potential option.

        What Can Improve

        1. I just want to see more gizmos like steering mounted controls, better integrated screen in dash gps, cruise control, reverse sensors as standard for all variants 2. Also some fitments can be better for better insulation and quieter cabin 3. General vibration levels can be improved especially in the gear stick

I would just like any one who is considering and SUV in this price segment, to go and test drive this beast, it surely will impress you! Put it to test TODAY!

        Whats Good

ITS Front seats comfortable. Mileage on long runs is just amazing. City mileage above average. Engine smooth and vibration free. Acceleration, once you cross 2000 rpm is incredible. You can overtake most cars, if you are an expert on Indian roads. Air-con performance is quite good. Electrically operated side view mirrors, good for safety, besides convenience. On good toll roads you can average 90 kms in one hour. I generally drive fast and do not look for exceptional mileage, at that speed.

        What Can Improve

As the saying goes...."you can not have the cake and eat it too"....You want excise concession, you get a small boot. If you can pay, there definitely are, better cars, though much more expensive than your Dzire. And, believe me, certainly, not value for money. Though boot size is not a problem for my family, I find the body panels and certain plastic parts, flimsy, and can break, just with an accidental hit to a stray dog or cat at speeds above 60 kmph. The hump in the middle of the rear seat floor makes travel uncomfortable for the fifth passenger, though I am quite sure that no one is going to stuff this car with too many passengers. Suspension can improve mainly because I have some very rough stretches to traverse and have to slow down and negotiate carefully. But, this may not be the case with many others in the top metros of our country, where the road quality is much superior. The front bumpers are quite low and this can result in damage to the under belly of the bumpers if you are not careful on rough stretches. Mileage

D BEST CARS FOR INDIAN ROADS N CLASSY PEOPLE

        Whats Good

        Nothing

        What Can Improve

        Everything

I am a Tata Safari owner since 2013. It has been the worst mistake I have made in my life. The vehicle has been to the workshop over 50 times in less than 30 months with repairs under warranty to the tune of Rs 2 lacs. I must have lost my sanity temporarily when I chose to buy this car. I would not recommend this car to even my worst enemy. After sale service is pathetic as well. STAY AWAY. PERIOD!
