There are minor changes in the exteriors, like wheel arches have been lowered down. Moreover, the latest version is better than its predecessor in terms of acceleration and pick up, attaining 100 kmph mark under 16 seconds. However, New Indica has not matched expectations of enthusiasts and experts in terms of handling and ride quality as car gets unsettled at higher speeds.
Steering wheel position and wheel arches are revamped for better comfortable drive. Moreover, power window switches are placed low and above the gear lever, an illustration of poor ergonomics. In comparison to previous editions, issues like panel gaps, early rattles and quality have been addressed. Nonetheless, Indica delivers better mileage than fuel efficient diesel cars like Maruti Swift and Ford Figo. Besides, it is a better choice in terms of transmission and pricing than these counterparts.
