I'm owning an ELANTRA GLS since Sep 2004 & it is an excellent car !! NIL BreakDowns in 5 Years. Resale is low possibly because of an Average of 7-10 Kms / Litre of Petrol in City but on highway it gives 13-14 Kms. One can get a CNG Fitting Done if one is very concious re : Fuel Consumption. Although even a Corolla gives between 8-10 Kms in the City !! Re : Spares / Maintenance Costs I'm incurrring approx Annual Costs of Rs14000/ or 1000-1200 Rs / Month which by no means is expensive.
