Buy Uno for occassional drive, not for everyday commute.

If you are going to use Fiat UNO for a daily commute then i advise not buying UNO. But if you are going to use for an ocassional drive then you can buy. (By they way, i use it for daily use to & fro to office). Reasons are spares are not easily available round the corner and you will have some waiting time (even a week) or worst you might have to source it yourself. If you are staying in Metro's like Mumbai then the spares might be available from Opera House, but if you are staying in tier 2 or 3 cities then they may have to source from somewhere else which will be a long waiting time for you. Also, even if spares are available they will be very expensive to maintain. Having said that the spares rarely give any problem and are long lasting. Also UNO is a good car to drive for ride quality, handling, stability, fuel economy and comfort. Once you own a UNO you will be obsessed by it.

I OWNED A FIAT UNO A COUPLE OF YEARS BACK AND IT WAS A GREAT CAR FOR LONG DRIVES.i MADE A COUPLE OF TRIPS TO RAJAHMUNDRY IN AP STATE FROM CHENNAI AND THEY WERE THE MNOST COMFORTABLE CAR TRIPS I'VE HAD, THAT TOO WITH THE AC ON THE WHOLE TIME AND I ALSO GOT A MILEAGE OF 20+ KMS. IT'S A GREAT PITY THAT I HAD TO SELL THE CAR DUE LACK OF SPARES. NO DOUBT IT IS ONE OF THE BEST CARS I'VE OWNED. I WISH ITS BROUGHT BACK INTO PRODUCTION IN INDIA

I couldn't agree more with Mr Iyer. Uno grows on you. Mine is 1999 diesel model, done 1,50,000 km till date and but for the spares problem I wouldn't be thinking of an another car. I am presently contemplating on getting Linea, FIAT after sales notwithstanding.

I agree with Mr. Kuriakose, Fiat Ceo has promised us to source all the spare parts that are not available readily in the maket, here in coimbatore and calicut we get almost all spares. if any body is in need of any geniune spares they can contact TATA-FIAT dealers - concord motors bangalore, I expect Fiat India will consider the new NOVO UNO to Indian market soon.

Tata as the best Auto manufacturer in India, Fiat being the weapon in his arsenal, Uno being the best in small cars, may we be bold enough to request TATA to 'RELAUNCH' this car in the best interest of the customer and nation ESPECIALLY IN TERMS OF SPARES AND SERVICE TO THOSE ALREADY ON ROAD. tHANKS AND REGARDS. Is he listening ???????????????????

fiat uno is the best car among the small cars for its reliability, power, body line, safety, and many other features. I own a Fiat Uno-2000 petrol, which is till the date with Extra ordinary condition with which l am really obsessed. You will really fall in love with the car if you own one of them and maintain it properly. Its parts are not that costlier as all say if you approach the right dealer.
