I am using Cielo 96 model for the past 7 yrs
I am using Cielo 96 model for the past 7 yrs and so far no problem. I brought the car from Delhi to Hyderabad and still using here. Now, in the recent past, the break problem has started and it is costing me Rs.10,000/- (Mazda Motors, Hyderabad). Although, I love this car very much but when the maintanence comes, it is really difficult to manage this car. On the other side, the fuel tank - I do not know whether it is made for some War tanker. It consumes petrol like kids eating ice creams. All cielo loves Petrol. Off late, I am thinking of disposing it and buying a TVS Scooty for it. Yes, its a fact.

Hi guys its up to your to choice maruthi or cielo, Maruthi u will get millege but no confort...u feel like u will be traveling in bullecock, in cielo u will feel like travelling real car.
Even i have cielo and Alto, when drive alto car i feel engine noice and vibration is more even though 800cc...i fell i am driving lory...but when i drive cielo i feel like driving real car no noice and very good suspention and road grip, afcource millege is drawback, even though i am happy with comfort, and i am happy kumaresh (September 18, 2011)

Mr Guru Prasad I liked that you liked the ride of a cielo, but the petrol cost and the maintenance cost is hitting you. I have a good suggestion for you. I have experimented this on one of my friends cielo with which he was frustrated, and it has been successfull. I fitted in a diesel indica V2 engine in cielo. I had to work out a little with the frame work to fit the engine & bear the vibration. The reconditioned engine and fitting costed me Rs 60,000/-. However it was done at bangalore in the year 2010, so it was expensive there. But we were surprised after running the car. We got an awesum performance, good pickup, no vibration or sound. The mileage on highway turned to be 27 per litre on bangalore mumbai highway.
