Skoda India sold 17,438 vehicles in 2017 registering a growth rate of 30 per cent as compared to 2016. This increment in car sales should be a good boost for the carmaker to improve their service too in the country.
The hike in car sales comes owing to the backing of the increase in demand of Skoda cars. The Rapid, Octavia and the newly launched Kodiaq are doing fairly good in the Indian market. This has boosted the sales for the carmaker.
Also, Skoda India's constant efforts to improve their sales and after-sales network has helped it to reach this landmark. The automaker has not only rebranded their sales outlets across the country, but also introduced a four year service care program as a step towards increasing customer satisfaction. Steps like these will help in improving their after-sales service in the country.
