The country’s largest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki will launch the much-awaited XL6 premium MPV on 21 August 2019. Bookings for the vehicle commenced on 9 August at a token amount of Rs 11,000. The latest Nexa product will be available two variants and four trims – Zeta manual/Zeta Automatic and Alpha manual/Alpha automatic. Post-launch, the vehicle will be available in six colour options - metallic premium silver, metallic magma gray, prime auburn red, pearl brave khaki, pearl artic white and nexa blue.
The six-seat premium SUV will be powered by a BS-VI compliant K15 petrol engine with Smart Hybrid technology. The XL6 from Maruti Suzuki will get captain seats in the middle row, SmartPlay Studio with smartphone connectivity, cruise control and more. The MPV is based on the Heartect platform and it gets the Nexa safety shield which includes dual front airbags, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brake Force Distribution), front seatbelts with pre-tensioners and force limiter, ISOFIX, hill hold assist, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), high speed warning alert, driver/co-driver seat belt reminder and reverse parking sensors as a standard fitment.
