Chevrolet has released a teaser image of the next-generation 2016 Spark hatchback, known as the Beat in India, that is scheduled to be unveiled on April 2, 2015. The 2016 Spark has already been spotted testing. The spotted vehicle was completely undisguised, which shows that the vehicle adopts a completely different design when compared to the existing model.

The next-gen Spark will be based on the Opel Karl / Vauxhall Viva; however, the car has rear door handles mounted near the C-pillars (Available in current model as well). The teaser shows the evolutionary design to attract the first time or young buyers. It is equipped with familiar lower hexagonal and upper grilles, flanked by new large headlamps and fog lamps. The side profile gets aggressive lines that run across the length.

The hatchback siblings Karl or Viva weigh just 939kg and the engine is coupled to a five-speed manual transmission. The vehicle offers an impressive 23.2kmpl, with CO2 emissions of 99g/km.
