Expected: Early-2012
After the historic success of Innova in India, Toyota is planning to repeat the same with the all new Avanza which shares quite a few common features with Innova.
The Toyota Avanza has an impressive exterior and the interior also looks good with a number of superb features. The brilliant look of the front grill and the bumpers especially catch the eyes. The stylish multi reflector lights and the fog lamps are well placed.
While the exterior of the car looks stylish, the luxurious inside of the car has few parallels either. The digital instrument panel enables the riders to avail a number of functionalities with ease, and one is quite impressed by the spacious interiors of the car.
The 1.5 liter petrol engine of the Toyota Avanza is well tuned and the car has a maximum power of 109Ps and a highest torque of 141 Nm at 4,400 rpm.
The Avanza is quite fuel efficient and is expected to run at 15.8 kmpl. The car owes its superb performance to the VVTi technology which is the aid behind its improved acceleration, fuel economy, torque and power.
Experts say that it will be pleasure to drive the Toyota Avanza and it will be great performer on the high ways.

Its nice to hear that Toyota is going to launch MPV Avanza in India. I presonally prefer to a diesel version with auto gerra box. We Indians cannot undestand why Toyota and other Japanese maufatures not introducing Auto version with Diesel Engine.
