Engine and Specifications of the Tata Safari

The terrific Tata Safari is powered by a 2.0 L Turbo Diesel engine which gives impressive power and ultimate torque to push the vehicle ahead of its rivals.  The engine is fairly silent and smooth, all credit to its comprehensive sound deadening.

The ride quality and handling of this crossover are excellent with low-ratio gearbox and permanent four-wheel drive which throttles the vehicle to deliver high performance with increased fuel efficiency.

The Tata Safari is blessed with tempting exteriors which show signs of ruggedness. It continues its high stance with a rather long bonnet and timid looking clear lens headlamps which are powerful enough to light the darkest roads. The front radiator grille has horizontal slats which makes the SUV a headturner. The decent roof railings, metallic paints and alloy wheels add to the sportiness of the new Tata Safari. It is true that Tata Safari is a decade old SUV but the interiors show no such signs with everything steadily appointed for making you feel completely relaxed irrespective of the work done by the car.  Safari is a seven-seater with a sizeable boot that can be extended by folding down the split rear seats, which divide 60/40 for added versatility.
