Tata Indica Xeta Price Quote News Comparisons Reviews Q&A Images Mileage Used Cars

While buying a new hatchback, what I look for is a favourable mileage along with well balanced cabin features. I considered the new Tata Indica e Xeta GLS and I finalised to purchase the model only after comparing it with every possible alternative. Considering the traffic prone roads of India, Indica e Xeta GLS has a custom made engine cut out for Indian roads. Based on a 1193cc, Multi-Point Fuel Injection‎ (MPFI) system, the power churning capacity goes up to 66 bhp at 5000 rpm and maximum torque generation is 100 nm at 2700 rpm. With a decent engine responsiveness, the mileage I get is one of the best for Indian roads. Tata Indica e Xeta is capable of delivering a mileage of 14 kmpl on city roads and around 17 kmpl, while driving on highways. On the other hand, when talking in terms of comfort and convenience, Indica e Xeta might not be a favourable choice. Although, many standard features are available that cater to basic comfort needs. Some of these features include manual air-conditioning system, power steering, remote controlled boot opening and fuel lid opening and more. On the safety front, however, the car lacks to a great extent. Apart from seat belts and other standard features, there is lesser scope for advanced passenger safety equipment.

I have always wanted to have a car that provided me with the best fuel economy and with Tata Indica Xeta, my search was finally over. Available at very reasonable price, the car delivers superb mileage. The best part about this vehicle is the excellent fuel efficiency and engine performance it can offer. Powered with an engine that has 475 SI multi point fuel injection system with 32bit microprocessor, the car can produce up to maximum power of 65ps at 5000rpm and maximum torque of 100nm at 2600rpm. On the other hand, the car could be improved in terms of in-cabin luxuries. The car is not suitable for people looking primarily for a luxury car. Having said that, the car still comes through when you are expecting standard comfort equipment. The cabin has a air-conditioning system, power steering, 2 way adjustable front seat headrests and front lumber support for front seats. The features that I found most useful are remote operated fuel lid and tail-gate opening. Indica Xeta also comes with most of the safety equipment such as rear door child safety locks, high mounted stop lamps, collapsible steering wheel and 3 point ELR seat belts in front and back seats.
