Tata Indica Vista has always been a true value for money car for me. The car excels in various departments. Tata Motors launched its Indica Vista in both the petrol and diesel variants in the country. I am having the Safire 90 petrol variant and its performance on the roads has been quite appreciatory. There are a total of two petrol variants of this car available in the Indian market. The Safire 90 is powered by a 4 cylinder, 16 valve MPFI, twin-cam variable valve timing technology which has maximum displacement of 1368 cc. It has a maximum power output of 88.7 hp at 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 116 Nm at 4750 rpm. The other petrol variant which is named as Vista Safire 65 runs on a 4-cylinder MPFI engine and it bears a maximum displacement of 1172 cc. Owing to such an engine, the variant generates a maximum power output of 64 hp at 5500 rpm and a torque of 96 Nm at 3000 rpm. The exterior side of the Vista is also very appealing and stylish. As Tata launched the Vista as a successor of its Indica, a lot of cosmic change in the exterior as well as interior side has been done in this car. The exterior side of Indica Vista flaunts various features like aggressive front chrome grille, stylish four barrel head lamps, chrome plating for exhaust pipe, stylish full wheel covers, body coloured ORVMs and many more. From the inside also, the car is packed with various interior advancements and features. Prominent features in the inside of Indica Vista are hydraulic power steering, front & rear power windows, lumbar support on front seats, height adjustable driver seat and light intensity adjustment for instrument cluster.

1. Please donot buy used car with dual fuel (petrol+LPG), because you donot know the reliability of the LPG/CNG kit in it. If only petrol car, than you can go for buying used petrol car from True value / Mahindra First choice. 2. 1000km / month is good travelling and hence you can look for new car as well. It will be better as for new cars generally you will not have any maintainence issue for atleast 2 years (25k kms). Petrol car if you are looking go for i20 and diesel than go for Indigo eCS / Vista / eV2. 3. If looking for DUO, yes there is no choice but wangon R DUO which is proven. But please donot drive continuosly your car on LPG / CNG. In this case you need to maintain a habit of driving atleast 25% of your total travel n petrol. e.g. if you go for 300 kms than you should drive atleast 100 kms on petrol to avoid wear and tear of engine parts. 4. Generally look for petrol vehicle with mileage of 17-20 kmpl for petrol cars. This will give you running cost of 3.8 to 4.2 kms/liter, which is good for 1000 km/month. Also petrol car have better resale values (less depriciation) and lastly price difference between petrol car and diesel car is around 1.0 lacs which is more than cost you save on diesel car running at 1000 km/month.
