The Japan based leading car maker Nissan Motors had rolled-out its much anticipated sports car – Nissan 370Z – in the Indian market in January 2010. The Nissan 370Z is a two-door compact sports car that carries two seats inside. The car first debuted in the US market in year 2008 and the Nissan 370Z has since been appreciated throughout the world for its power-packed engine, advanced features and masculine looks.
The Nissan 370Z is available in 2 variants in the Indian market including manual transmission and automatic transmission version. The car comes powered by a 3.7L petrol engine that is capable of delivering a peak power of 332Bhp. It is the fastest Nissan Car in the Indian market as it takes mere 6.8 seconds to reach the mark of 100 km/hr from a stand still position.
The Nissan 370Z is currently being imported in India through CBU (Completely Built Unit) route from Nissan’s base market Japan, attracting massive import duties. Where the manual transmission version of the car is available at Rs 53.5 lakh, the automatic transmission version is priced at Rs 54.5 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi). The 370Z model is offering a tough competition to the likes of BMW 3-Series and Audi A4.

The Nissan 370Z model is available in two variants that come powered by the same 3.7L, 3696cc, DOHC, V6 petrol engine. The highly sophisticated engine of this sports car comes incorporated with some highly advanced performance boosting technological features including the CVVTCS (Continuous Variable Valve Timing Control System) and the VVEL (Variable Valve Event and Lift) technology. The power-packed engine of 370Z is capable of producing a peak power of 332Bhp at 7000rpm along with maximum torque of 365Nm at 5200rpm. The car is available in both six-speed manual and 7-speed automatic transmission versions.
