I have always developed a taste of SUV and owing to this; I recently purchased the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, which is a premium SUV of this auto-group. The drive in this car has simply been amazing and powerful. With such an aggressive body structure and the advanced engine that has been used in this car, it’s fun to drive this SUV. The variants of this car are powered by a 4 cylinder, DOHC engine, which has maximum displacement of 2393 cc. Owing to such an engine, the Grand Vitara generates power output of 163.5 bhp at 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 225 Nm at 4000 rpm. The transmission in this premium SUV has also been quite amazing and the company has made available both the automatic and manual transmission in this car. Not just performance, the Grand Vitara also has an adequate comfort in it. The interiors are made very much spacious which can fit in seven passengers comfortably. There are various features inside this car which makes the drive comfortable. Few of the prominent comfort features in Grand Vitara are front & rear cup holders, two front bottle holders, driver & passenger seat back pockets and tailgate luggage area storage pockets. Besides these, the SUV also has driver seat height adjuster, head restraints, and 60:40 split proportion of seats. Apart from these, I am also satisfied with the safety features that are fitted in this car. Prominent safety features of this car are Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution system (EBD), brake assist and many more.
