I have been using the Maruti Suzuki Alto since quite a time now and the car has been a true value for money. The car has lots of attributes in it, which comprise the best in-class fuel-efficiency and advanced technology. Renowned as India's most fuel-efficient car, the Alto delivers an impressive mileage of 19.7 kmpl on the roads. The introduction of an advanced petrol engine enables the Alto to produce maximum power output of 46 hp and torque of 62 Nm. Apart from power, the Alto assures comfortable drive.
The suspension has been really good as at the front end, the car is fitted with McPherson Strut with torsion type roll control device and at the rear side has coil springs gas filled shock absorbers. Moreover, the Alto has a 5-speed manual transmission which makes switching of gears quite smooth.
Besides the performance of this car, I am also quite pleased with the comfort adjustments that have been done in it. The interiors of Alto consist of many notable features such as air conditioning with heating facility, comfortable front seats, cup holders, front door pockets, glove box and many more. Moreover, there lies much interior space which provides ample legroom and headroom even in the compact structure of this car.

It has been more than three years driving in my comfortable and quaint Maruti Alto LX model on Indian roads. Alto has created a successful market in India and needs no testimony to prove it. Offering a favourable combination of efficiency, compactness, easy handling and comfort, I consider the car perfect for every Indian car user. In addition to performance and efficiency, the hatchback required lesser maintenance as well.
My Maruti Alto LX model works on a 796 cc, 0.8-litre petrol engine which offers optimum power of 46 bhp and peak torque of 62 Nm. Moreover, a favourable mileage is just what is required from any car on Indian roads today. Maruti Alto LX manages a decent city mileage of 15 kmpl and 19 kmpl on highways.
The interior may not be one of the best in comparison to several other cars available today, however, the decently spaced cabin with basic level features is on accordance to my requirements.
The front seats are quite spacious and offer abundant leg-room have features like air-conditioning with heater and rotatory control for AC, electronic tripmeter, front console with cup-holders and front door pockets.
On the downside, I think passive safety features of Maruti Alto LX are not up to the mark. Nonetheless, I have thoroughly enjoyed driving Alto and consider it as one of the most available cars available today.

I purchased alto k10vxi on 06th may 2011. milage is excllent -- city condition with AC - 15.29 km per ltr , Hih way - 18.67 km per lts(with AC) at speed of 100~130 kmph.Driving comfort is excellent.Fully satisfied. Value for money.
