Jaguar XF

Jaguar XF, was launched by the company to replace the S-type. The production version of Jaguar XF was unveiled in March 2008 in the Frankfurt Motor Show. The car was launched in UK and was a huge success. It was basically a concept car, which was designed different from other Jaguars. Earlier the company was owned by Ford Motors but later it was acquired by Tata Motors. The 5.0L V8 engine of this car delivered excellent performance on all types of roads. It was launched in India with two petrol and one diesel model.

This transmission of Jaguar XF is controlled by the Jaguar Drive Selector, which is turned by the driver. Two settings are available in the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). As soon as wheel slipping is detected, the default setting is activated. However, some slippage is allowed by the Trac DSC setting before it intervenes. For detecting any slippage, the electronic Active Differential Control on the XFR is designed. It also varies the power supply among wheels and keeps the car stable. However, Bentley Motors Continental is a more powerful car than Jaguar XF 2011.   Rolls Royce Ghost has manual transmission but Jaguar XF has automatic transmission.
