Spyker D8 PekingtoParis

Spyker, the renowned manufacturer of sports cars is about to introduce its D8 Peking-to-Paris model in India. It is one of the most expensive cars of the world, which has great look and exciting interior features. Michiel van den Brink is the designer of this premium vehicle and he has delivered it a dynamic look.

Known as D12, the car would come with a V8 engine, which delivers high power and torque. The car made its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2009. To record the 1907 participation of Spyker, the car has been named D8 Peking-to-Paris.

The company received over 100 orders of the model after it was introduced in Geneva. First introduced in the North American Market, the D8 Peking-to-Paris also appeared at the New York motor show in April 2006.

Engine and technical specifications of D8 Peking-to-Paris

Loaded with a 6.2 litre petrol engine, the car delivers excellent performance on all types of terrains. Power generated the engine of this car is 537 hp at 6500 rpm. Torque churned by the engine is 747 Nm at 6200 rpm.

The four seater car has all independent suspension, which results in smooth drive. 6-speed manual transmission contributes towards the speed and acceleration of this car. To reach speed of 100 kmph, the car takes 5 seconds and it is able to attain top speed of 270 kmph.

Spyker D8 Peking-to-Paris car has eye catching exterior, which makes it a head turner. It borrows many features from the Spyker's sports car, the C8.
