Skoda Yeti is an off-road SUV offered by Skoda Auto, its based on the platform of Skoda Octavia 4x4. The body of this car is made of high quality moulded plastic  and comes loaded with many features. Skoda Auto enters the much discussed Indian SUV market with Skoda Yeti. Skoda Yeti is available in 2.0 liter turbo charged diesel engine with the displacement of 1968 cc. The four cylinder,16 valves DOHC engine  has a capacity to churn out peak power of 140 bhp at 4200 rpm and a maximum torque of 320 Nm at a range of 1750 to 2500 rpm. Skoda Yeti boasts of advanced features like high pressure direct injection, liquid cooled, TDI turbocharged diesel engine, six speed manual synchronized transmission and so on. According to the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), Skoda Yeti can give a mileage of 14 KMPL in city and 17.67 KMPL on highways.
