Renault Pulse in India will compete with Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Volkswagen Polo and the Skoda Fabia. Hyundai i20 is the first competitor of Renault Pulse in India, which comes with 1.4L CRDI diesel engine. Power generated by the engine is 89 hp at 4000 rpm, which is highly impressive. Further, the engine of this car is mated with five speed manual transmission.

Maruti Suzuki Swift is the second competitor of Renault Pulse in India, which comes with 1 1.3 L, 1248 cc DDiS engine that generates power of 74 hp at 4000 rpm.
