Mercedes-Benz History

There has been a significant role of two people in the establishment of Mercedes Benz – Gottlieb Daimler and Karl Benz. These two started Mercedes Benz around 1880 by coming up with a vehicle that was powered by an internal combustible engine.

The work of Daimler and Karl Benz was closely related to each other, which contributed a lot in the beginning of Mercedes Benz. Daimler was focussed on producing racing cars and an Austrian dealer named Emil Jellinek got really impressed with Daimler's cars. Due to this, Jellinek placed a large order of these cars and decided to modify some of its designs.

With the help of Daimler's business partner William Maybach, the modification of the designs started. The cars were named as Mercedes and with the submergence of Mercedes and Benz, the name came up to be Mercedes Benz. Since then, Mercedes Benz has been manufacturing high-end and unmatched cars.

Mercedes-Benz Founders

Mercedes Benz was a partnered enterprise founded by German engine designers Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler. Daimler also worked with another German named Wilhelm Maybach. Both Daimler and Benz worked separately at the initial stages, and the latter succeeded in getting his work patented ahead of the former in 1886. Due to this, the internal combustible engine was used for the first time in German cars.

In 1885, Daimler and his business partner Maybach designed a predecessor of the modern petrol (gasoline) engine. This engine was subsequently fitted into a two wheeler, which was termed the first internal combustion motorcycle, a stage coach and a boat. After many years, Gottlieb Daimler and Karl Benz started working together, which led to the establishment of Mercedes Benz.
