The Hyundai Getz is one of the oldest premium hatchbacks in the Indian market and was launched in the country in the starting of this millennium. The Getz model has always been appreciated for its high performance and spacious interiors.

However, the car was discontinued in the 13 major cities in the Indian market in April 2010, after the government of India applied new BS-IV emission norms in the 13 major cities of the country.

While the 1.1L engine of the car is capable of delivering a peak power of 65 bhp, the 1.3L engine of the car delivers a maximum power of 82bhp. On the other hand, the diesel version of the Getz is available with a 1.5L CRDi engine that delivers a peak power of 108 bhp at 4000 rpm along with a peak torque of 235 Nm at 2750 rpm. All variants of the Getz carry a five-speed manual transmission gearbox.
