This car will add to the company's current portfolio, which consists of models like CR-V, Accord, Jazz, Accord 3.5 L, Civic and City. The concept was unveiled at the New Delhi Auto Expo and is expected to be on roads by 2013 as per official sources. Most stylish appearance, new-age technology and user-friendly controls at the lucrative price have made Honda TIF one of the most awaited cars in India.
Engines & Specifications of Honda TIF
Upcoming Honda TIF based on the concept is expected to be equipped with engines having capacities of 1.0 L and 1.3 L. Apart from that, there are reports of variants that may be powered by a 1 L capacity engine.
Performance of Honda TIF
Powered with an advanced engine, Honda TIF should be able to deliver efficient on-road performance. As per Honda officials, engine of the car is to be complemented by a modern 5-speed manual transmission mechanism. Placed in the performance-oriented segment, Honda TIF is expected to give better fuel mileage than its competitors in order to topple rivals like Hyundai i10 and Chevrolet Beat from their position as the favourite hatchbacks on Indian roads.
Exterior, Interior & Safety Features of Honda TIF
The upcoming Honda TIF is expected to sport an aerodynamic built, identical to other Honda models in India, like City and Jazz. Exteriors of the compact car should be graciously designed, front grille featuring Honda hallmark being the most contrasting feature of its front. Its sporty character is illustrated by raked C-pillar, clam-shell bonnet and gracious waistline merging with the mid-point with hatch glass.
The spacious compact car from Honda is designed for accommodating 5 persons comfortably. Therefore, its interiors should be plush and elegant, with several arrangements for safety, comfort and convenience. Moreover, the car may also have features that enhance driving comfort and control.
