Among the new launches of Fiat in the coming time, the company is likely to introduce its stylish compact car, Fiat Grande Punto Evo.

The all new Fiat Grande Punto Evo is possibly the best-looking car in the Fiat line of cars. The car possesses striking good looks which has an influence of European styling in it. This compact car is expected to be available with quality fit and finish interiors. The Grande Punto Evo is expected to be available with both the diesel as well as petrol variants. This upcoming model is going to be a newer version of the already launched Fiat Grande Punto. Tough competition for Skoda Fabia, Volkswagen Polo and Hyundai i20 is likely to be on the cards.

Engines & Specifications of Fiat Grande Punto Evo

The all new Fiat Grande Punto is expected to be powered by a powerful 1.4 L petrol engine and a 1.3 L second generation multi jet diesel engine. Use of advanced technology called Multi-Air technology would be used in this new Fiat model. The engine configuration is expected to be optional as the vehicle is likely to be available with a 1.2 L or a 1.4 L petrol engine and FIRE petrol engine.

The petrol variant would be generating a maximum power output of 67 hp at 6000 rpm and the torque generation capacity is expected to be 96 Nm at 2500 rpm. On the other hand, the diesel variant is likely to produce 76 hp of power at 4000 rpm, whereas the torque generation capacity of the vehicle would be 197 Nm at 1750 rpm.

Performance of Fiat Grande Punto Evo

In terms of performance, the Punto Evo is going to be a powerful one. The mileage of the petrol variant is expected to be 12 kmpl in urban areas and 16 kmpl on highways. With the introduction of multi jet diesel technology in the diesel variant, the performance is likely to improve. Owing to this, the mileage offered by the diesel one would be 14 kmpl on the city and 19 kmpl on highway roads.

Exterior, Interior & Safety Features of Fiat Grande Punto Evo

Fiat is planning to launch its Punto Evo only in a 5 door option in the Indian market. The design of this upcoming model has the influence of Italian design and the car flaunts stylish exteriors. The exteriors include the aggressive front grille which imparts a sporty look to the car. Moreover, the frames and arches on the body provide a muscular look. Overall, the looks of the new Fiat Grande Punto Evo are sporty and muscular. In addition to this, the alloy wheels also add to its beauty.
