Fiat Bravo is an upcoming premium hatchback car from Fiat India Automobiles Limited. The Fiat Bravo is a compact family car, which was officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2007. This compact hatchback is designed and engineered by the Fiat style centre and Austrian automotive company Magna Steyr. Fiat Bravo in India will be the most expensive car in the segment of compact hatchbacks. It will be priced way above the existing league of premium hatchbacks in India, within the price bracket of Rs. 16 to Rs.18 lacs.

As per industry reports, the idea behind launch of Fiat Bravo is to create a strong brand image in the mind of Indian consumers, underlining refined quality and world-class capabilities of Fiat products. However, taking into account the uprising demand for diesel cars, the premium car will be assembled with a diesel engine.

Engine and technical specifications of Fiat Bravo

The forthcoming Fiat Bravo in India will be loaded with a powerful 1910cc, 16-valve turbocharged multi-jet engine. This high-revving engine, transversely positioned, has capability to deliver maximum power output of 150 bhp at 4000 rpm. Moreover, this engine has peak torque delivery of 305 Nm at 2000 rpm.

The most powerful upcoming hatchback car in India is expected to do well on-road. In context of acceleration and pick-up, Fiat Bravo races from 0 to 100 kmph in 9 seconds. Furthermore, the advance gearshift mechanism, suspension setup, power steering and deceleration setup enhance ride quality besides providing stability to the car.
