According to the founders of the company the sports cars are to be built to highest standards to provide the complete pleasure to the driver of the car. The goals which were set up by the founders ninety years ago are still very relevant to the owners of the company. An Aston Martin maintains its prime focus on three important elements, power, beauty and soul.
The early races did not prove beneficiary for both the partners and Robert Bamford sold his share to Lionel Martin in 1922. Then John Benson decided to continue the Aston Martin's reputation in the racing fields.

About a year ago, Renwick & Bertelli broke up and started seeking outside investors to keep the concern running. By the year 1936, Bertelli had left and the Sutherland family took the control over the company.
During the World War II, Aston Martin Motors was assigned for making tools and spare parts for aircraft joysticks. In those days, there was a launch of Aston Martin's earliest stars, the Atom. In 1946, David Brown saw a classified ad in London Times that Aston Martin wasonsale at 30,000 pounds. He then went to Feltham and took the possession of the Atom.
Thereafter, he bought the company for a discounted price of 20500 pounds from the southern family. After being convinced from a friend, he bought another automotive company, Lagonda worth 52500 pounds and merged it with Aston Martin. In the year 1954, the Aston Martin Company was shifted to its Newport Pagnell facilities.
With the entry of David Brown in the Aston Martin Company, the origin of DB models came into existence. Aston Martin 2-liter model was later called as DB1 which is built between the year 1948 and 1950. In the year 1950, DB2 started to roll out from the production unit of the company followed by DBS V8 which is built from the year 1967 to 1972. Unfortunately in 1972, David Brown sold the Aston Martin Company to Company Developments Ltd.
