Nissan Dealerships

Nissan Motors is a Japan based automobile manufacturer, which was launched in 1933 with the first Nissan dealerships appearing. Currently, Nissan Motors is one of the top three automakers of Asian continent. Nissan was launched in India in 2005 with the first Nissan dealership in India, with the sale of the popular SUV Nissan X-Trail. Following that Nissan launched its other models like Nissan Teana, Nissan 370Z and Nissan Micra, which were also sold in Nissan’s Indian dealerships.

Nissan dealerships spread throughout the India. As of November 2010, there are 16 dealerships in various cities of India. Since the brand is recently launched in India, the Nissan dealerships are less in number but Nissan is opening showrooms in India in high speed. Indians are quite much impressed by this Japanese brand’s cars, especially its recently launched Micra. So Nissan India is planning to expand its dealerships in large number in India in near future. It is expected that the Nissan dealership number will increase to 55 by 2012.

Some of the popular Nissan dealers in India are Sheriff Nissan in Chennai, Oxford Nissan in Pune, Lakshmi Nissan in Hyderabad, Nath Nissan in News Delhi, Ramani Nissan in Coimbatore, and Shahwar Motives Private Limited in Bangalore and so on.

As Nissan is a recently launched brand in India, Nissan India doesn’t own a used car dealership in India. However, Nissan used cars are always in demand. Hopefully, Nissan used car dealerships will exist and flourish in near future.
