BMW Dealerships

BMW is a German car-manufacturing company founded in 1918. It has since established itself as a premier manufacturer of top quality luxury cars throughout the world. BMW started its operations in India 2006 by setting up BMW India Pvt. Ltd. with its headquarters in Gurgaon. This was swiftly followed by the setting up of a production plant in 2007 in Chennai and launching various BMW dealerships in India.

With BMW showrooms finding its way quickly across the country, BMW models currently available in the Indian market range from luxury models such as the 3-series, 5-series, 6-series, 7-series and their respective SUV versions like the X3, X5 and X6. BMW also sells sports models like the M3, M5, M6 and Z4 in India. The 3-series and 5-series for the Indian market are currently produced in BMW’s production plant in Chennai. All these BMW car models are sold across BMW Indian dealerships.

BMW has a wide network of BMW dealers in India. Some famous BMW dealers in the country are Kun Exclusive Chennai, Coimbatore and Hyderabad, Navnit Motors in Bangalore and Mumbai, Bird Automotive in Delhi and Bavaria Motors in Pune. BMW also has dealerships in Indore, Jaipur, Ahmedabad among other cities.

The used car market for BMW in India is still young, though there are informal dealers of BMW around. However, it is believed that BMW is considering setting up its own premium-service to market used BMW cars. This will be welcomed by upper-middle class consumers and anyone else who wants to own a BMW but is not ready to shell out their entire savings. Hopefully we can see BMW used car dealerships in the country in near future.
