Kanda Motors Pvt Ltd is a 25-years old enterprise that has been engaged in the business of supplying automobile components to the major automobile companies in the country. But it is relatively new name in the list of automobile manufacturing companies. It has taken up manufacturing automobiles in the year of 2004 and has shown substantial growth during these years. The company has an Rs 400-crore facility near Pirangut in Pune which has starting working from 2007. The company offers different models, in the 100cc segment there are three different models- Thunder, Tracer and Traveller, at a price range of Rs 34,000 to Rs 38,000. The 150 cc bikes are available in the price range of Rs 55,000 and 57000 and the sporty model is available is available at the price range of Rs 45,000 to Rs 47,000.

 

Kanda Brave 125cc - It has advanced 4 Stroke engine, it is single cylinder and air cooled. It has the maximum power of 10 B.H.P.9000RPM. It has the dimensions of 2000x780x1170mm; it has the ground clearance of 170mm. It has the battery of 12VDC 5AH battery.

 

Kanda Mission 100cc - It has the advanced 4 stroke engine, the cylinder is single and air cooled. It has the maximum power of 10B.H.P. 9000RPM. It has the dimension of 2000x780x1170mm. It has the ground clearance of 170mm. The engine has a displacement of 100cc and maximum torque of 8.5 Nm@7500RPM. It has a battery of 12 VDC 5AH battery.

 

Thunder - The thunder 100 cc has an electric start engine, the braking system is superb with a 130mm brake drum and a wide rear tyre.It complies with the EuroII-norms. The engine is imported from China. The model is available in forest green, maroon, deep shocking purple, yellow, black, silver and fern grey and expensive models will be available in peacock blue.

 

Kanda Motors has electrical bikes too. One of the models is Kanda Lovely that has sealed Acid battery, the bike exhibits a maximum power of 48V 22Ah, 245W. It has a ground clearance of 125.00 mm. It has the maximum speed of 26km per hour.
