The Global Automobiles is the first two wheeler manufacturing unit of the eastern India. The company has its state-of the art factory at Chinsurah, Hoogly.The factory was inaugurated in the year of 2007 with a capacity of 3.6 lacs two wheelers per annum. The factory is expected to employ around 2000 people directly and indirect employment to over 5000 people. The company launched its first two wheeler brand XPRESSION in April 2007 and the XPRESSION PLUS in three month’s time. One of the recent launches from the company is Rock 100 which is believed to be a revolution in the automobile industry.

Rock 100 has a four stroke engine, it is single cylinder, SOHC, and has a natural air cooled mechanism. It has an engine displacement of 97.2 cc. The maximum engine power of 6.7Bhp at 85000rpm it has a maximum torque of 6.5Nm @6000rpm .It has superb braking system with a mechanically expanding shoe and drum type front and rear brake. It has a number of special features like tachometer, gear indicator, aerodynamic shape CV type carburetor, and trapezoidal multireflector headlight. More over it has halogen headlight bulbs, sporty indicators and above all enthralling mileage. Thus it is a perfect choice for Indian bikers.

UFO 0150 - This is the only Indian scooter with remote control. It is equipped with a four stroke engine. It has an engine displacement of 149.6cc. The ignition type is CDI. The fuel tank has a capacity of 4.80 liter. It has a maximum net power of 6.3kW at 7500/min and maximum net torque 9.2 Nm at 6000rpm. It has a CDI ignition system. It has hydraulic operated disk brake and a mechanical expanding shoe and drum type rear brake. It is available in varied range of colors just as per the taste of the young riders.

XPRESSION PLUS is one of the most successful models from the company. It has some of special features like the five speed rotary gear transmission, 125 cc 4 stroke all aluminum engine, die casted rear grab rail, ventilated disc brakes, self start,15 liters capacity fuel tank , CAT mega phonic silencer with heat shield, aluminum die casted pillion foot rest and five step adjustable rear shock absorber. IT has an engine displacement of 124cc, net power of 10.5 Bhp at 8500 rpm it has a CDI ignition system. It has hydraulic ventilated disc brakes.
