Tips, questions and experiencesI own Tata Indica Xeta 1.4.
Currently i get below mileage:
1. City: 11-12 Kms/Ltr
2. Highway: 15-16 Kms/Ltr
As petrol prices are going up, I am planning to convert it to CNG. Can someone please advice me, if going for CNG with this model is wise decision or not?

Very poor mileage overall car performance is ok but mileage of indica xeta gls is very poor overall 12 kmpl highway & city both combind

Tata dealer at Agra is not able to solve the average 7 km/liter Highway(Petrol). Foreman asked to replace ECU which is app. 18000/- without a minute warranty. Anybody who knows about ECU.Let me guide?? Is it possible to reload ECU software from company. The dealer is not able to tell any solution other than ECU replacement.

It's best in the class of V2 series. It has less engine noise & vibration than the diesel version. I like it because of its smoothness while driving. It's very steady in highways. I've driven it upto 130 KMPH. It's pickup is very nice & better than Spark, Santro, Alto, Getz, i10, WagonR.

We own Tata Indica V2 Xeta. Initially it was giving 12-13Kms in city & !5-16.5 Kms highway.
We converted the same into CNG & it started to give just 10 kms on highway. Tata Motors service station is advising to remove CNG however they are not giving any guarantee to get back the original average or nearby we had.
Can any body comments or advise us?
