Tips, questions and experiencesi have just booked i 20 Sportz (P) . Im just thinking about the millage i stay in banaglore & mostly use it on weekends .as very less usage need to know is it a gud buy as luxury is imp & good performace economically is preffered.

Good mileage not excellent i will say having driven around 15000kms mostly city in the last 8 months. Keep tyre pressure nder check, thats whee i have faced issues.

I have a Magna 1.4 and just ran 1000kms in 10 day; yet to get the 1st servicing done. I am getting a mileage of 14-15 in city peak hour traffic.

My Hyundai I20 Magna (Petrol) milage in city is only 8Km/Ltr and 110.5 km/ltr on high way .
I am not satisfied with the service extended by Hyudai service centre

I am fade up with this car never this car given average of 10Km/ litre , in last 4 month total run is 12000km and mostly car run on highway or semi high way only , there is no proper support from Hyundai Service centre, simply Service centre is saying this will give milage of 10KM .
Over all this is a very bad experience with Hyundai i20. Before this I have used santro, on the same route I am always getting average of 13-14 km/ litre
Now I will never recommend to any one to think about I 20 in any case.

I purchased i20 Magna in Apr-2010. So far clocked 2600 KM mainly in city driving. with AC mileage is 10. Without AC is 12.

Hyundai i20 mileage
Hyundai i20 is one of the best B-Segment cars of Hyundai Motors India. The Hyundai i20 is available in both petrol and diesel variants with both manual and automatic gearbox transmissions with three types of engine options. All Hyundai i20 variants give an attractive mileage.
Hyundai i20 mileage is one of the major reasons for its success. One of its three types has a 1.4 liter Gamma petrol engine with displacement of 1396cc with four speed automatic gearbox transmission option. This engine type variant of Hyundai i20 can give mileage of 11.4 km per liter in city traffic and on highways it can give the mileage of 15.1 km per liter.
On the other hand, the 1.2 liter Kappa engine with five speed manual gearbox transmission and displacement of 1196cc can give a mileage of 15 km per liter in city and 17 km per liter in highways.
Last but not least, the 1.4 liter CRDI diesel engine of the Hyundai i20 comes with six speed manual gearbox transmission which is considered as the best engine for mileage. This 1.4 liter diesel Hyundai i20 can give the mileage of 18 km per liter in city and on highways it can offer 23 km per liter mileage.
