I drove my new Verna Fludic 1.6 CRDI SX which had done 350 kms, from Mumbai to Devlali and back. The average speed for trip was 45 KM/Hr and it gave me 19.8 Km/Lit. Considering traffic conditions and hilly terrain of western ghats, this was an excellent performance.

I have bought a i10 in Sep%u20192010. So far I have driven 6000kms and only in city limits. It is giving an average of 9.7kms/lit as against Hyundai claim of 14kms/l for city driving. I have informed this to the dealer HMV Hyundai, who have asked me to take it for a mileage test

I bought Hyundai EON Magna on 7th January 2012. On the second day itself I planned for a long drive from Bangalore to my home town. I filled petrol for Rs.1850/- and that made full tank(32 ltr). When I reached the destination after completing 553 kms I again filled petrol for Rs.1400/-(20.4 ltr) and that made again full tank. So it took only 20.4 ltr to drive 553 kms and the car has delivered awsome milege of 27.10 km/ltr.

I test drove the car and these are my observations: Positives: 1. Good interior space in the category and excellent quality for the price. 2. Nice road view which is a boon for city driving. 3. Decent steering feel and braking which sets new benchmarks in the category. Negatives: 1. Poor refinement and the acceleration. The move from zero to 30 is jerky and not smooth. 2. The gear box vibrates like a small bolero and the pickup is not upto the mark. 3. Not a great gearbox. 4. Rear set space looks compromised.

I am getting city mileage (Hyderabad) as about 10.5 to 11.0 at times with all AC all the time. Interestingly the highway milesage is 20 kms/pl with average speed of about 90-100 kmph. Great car but the city mileage should be little better and in the high speed the break isn't that good (I have ABS as well).

I just took the EON (Magna - o) on 24.10.11. On dely., I was told 5 lts. petrol was filled. At that time the fuel gauge was showing 1 led (out of 8) glowing. I filled petrol for Rs 1500/= (around 21 lts). Totally, 26 lts petrol is filled and the fuel gauge was showing 6 led (o/o 8). Now only 2 leds are glowing from 192th kilometer onwards. Going by my observation, the Eon is going to fuel empty around at the max 280/290 km reading. For a 26 lts of petrol only 280 kms. Sorry I am surprised. I am a car rider for more than 2 decades. My last car was Maruthi - 800, run more than 12 years. I went for Eon only on the basis of milage commitments. To my great shock, for me it just 10 or 11. I don't know what to do. Hyundai please come to resque. May be it is a stray example, still it is to be corrected.

Riding in city with a car with such a weight may not be fuel efficient (Max 10.5 Km/lit w/o AC under better traffic conditions, with AC 8 to 9.5 Kms). Highway riding is good for this car, can expect a mileage upto 16 Km/lit without AC if driven at optimum speed.

I had purchased Hyndai I10 1.2 VTVT Magna almost a year ago, i was promised by the dealer that city mileage would be 15 KMPL and highways around 20.83 KMPL,there was advertisement to support their mislead story. In reality my car is give around 10 KMPL in city driving conditions and in highway around 14 or 15 KMPL, anyway mileage is far below the company or dealer committment to customers. I am yet to give my for 3rd free service. This is truly misleading and cheating the customer from Hyundai, considering fuel price hike every month, it impossible to have such less mileage car and spend money on petrol. i will wait till my 3rd service get over and i am planning take it up with the company for such misleading the customers. my advise to new car buyers, PLEASE DONT GO BY COMPANY ADVERTISIMENT ESPECIALLY OH MILEAGE...

I feel mileage also dependents on the driving habit of people. Don't stress ur legs on the clutch petal always. Don not raise the car too much on 1st & 2nd gear. Also u can shift to 5th gear from 3rd skipping 4th which would result in better mileage.

I own Getz 1.3 GLS model of 2007 - the car is spacious enough & driving is comfort. Though car is nice, it burns the pocket with its mileage / fuel efficiency. I believe, the model is outdated in terms of Hyundai Motors mind set and as such there is no talk of Getz either in promotion or in terms of sale. In the current inflation, better to buy fuel efficient cars.

My car (next gen i10 sports auto) has run 2800 kms now and giving me 8 kms/l in city and 10 kms/l in highway without AC. I am hoping as it covers some 10000 kms it would give me 2-3 kms extra mileage. Having perfect tyre pressure all the time it not practically possible. The companys should claim mileage that the car gives under normal coniditions like when having normal tyre pressure, normal fuel that is available in normal petrol bunks, and not so bad driving style etc.

I am fade up with this car never this car given average of 10Km/ litre , in last 4 month total run is 12000km and mostly car run on highway or semi high way only , there is no proper support from Hyundai Service centre, simply Service centre is saying this will give milage of 10KM . Over all this is a very bad experience with Hyundai i20. Before this I have used santro, on the same route I am always getting average of 13-14 km/ litre Now I will never recommend to any one to think about I 20 in any case.

Cars give good milage after running around 20000km. Therefore drive your car as much as you can and after running the milage try to measure how much it is giving. Milage depends upon how u drive, how u use clutch. Tyre pressure, using unaudlterate fuel. Use a good fuel filling station. Try to drive max on 4th and 5th gear. Thumb rule is at 10 km shift to 2nd gear, at 20 shift to 3rd and at 30 shift to 4th gear. Shift to 5th gear after 45 km speed. Remember at 5th gear you should drive and run A/C as the power generated is used to drive the car as well as drive the a/c compressor.

I OWN GETz PRIME 2009 MODEL...ITS 1.1L GLE PETROL.. I HAVE CUSTOMIZED MY CAR WITH PIRELLI TYRES OF SIZE 195/60 R 13 NAMED "PIRELLI P-5000 SUPER SPORT"...THE TYRES ARE INFLATED WITH NITROGEN GAS WHICH HELPS IN INCREASING FUEL ECONOMY OF 2KMPL... THEY ARE FITTED ON COMPANY'S RIMS i.e. NO ALLOYS IT'S JUST FUN TO DRIVE THE CAR... YOU JUST DON'T REQUIRE SPOILER AT HIGH SPEED ONCE YOUR CAR IS FITTED WITH THESE TYRES... THE CAR JUST STICKS THE ROAD AND GOES...YOU DONT NEED TO PRESS BRAKES EVEN IF YOU ARE ON THE CURVE @ 160 KMPH..!!!! ON MY TRIP TO GOA I WAS CLOCKING AT AN AVERAGE SPEED OF 90-100 KMPH AND WAS ALSO STRUCK IN TRAFFIC JAM FOR 1HR...BUT STILL I GOT THE AVERAGE OF 19.82 KMPL WITH A/C..... ITS WAS THE BEST TRIP WHICH I HAD... IF YOU WANT TO INCREASE THE AVERAGE OF YOUR CAR THEN JUST REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING POINTS.... 1). PRESS THE ACCELERATOR THINKING THAT THERE'S AN EGG UNDER YOUR FOOT AND IT IS NOT TO BE BROKEN 2). TRY TO KEEP THE CAR AT THE LOWEST RPM OF AROUND 1000-1500 3). AVOID FREQUENT GEAR SHIFTS 4). DON'T PRESS THE CLUTCH WHILE BRAKING.... SHIFT TO LOWER GEAR ONLY WHEN YOU FEEL THAT THE CAR'S ENGINE WILL TURN OFF.... 5). KEEP YOUR CAR CLEAN FROM OUTSIDE i.e. DON'T LEAVE DUST ON THE BODY 6). GET YOUR CAR SERVICES REGULARLY...

Hi, We have the model Santro XING GLS and bought on nov 2007. To say, this car has got good pickup and can be controlled very easily in extreme conditions ( I met with this conditions many times). Advantages:- 1. Pickup is good. 2. Great Mileage In city : 15 Km/Ltr In Highway: 18 - 20 Km/Ltr (Depends on how you drive) 3. Low Maintenance. 4. More Spacious than any other cars in this segment. 5. Very smooth and silent engine at high speeds ( upto 130 Km/Hr) 6. AC is Good. 7. Car can be controlled in any situation. Disadvantages:- 1. Very Bumpy (Back side). This is the only Disadvantages so for i have seen in my car. So i suggest anyone to go with car. And everything depends on how they drive as for as my opinion. So guys Drive Safe and Smoothly.

This car gives a mileage of 13 in city and upto 17 on highways (both figures without AC) with a conservative foot on the gas pedal. If the car is ripped it wil lreturn 11 in city and 15-16 in the highways. To improve the mileage of the car, ensure that the airfilter is clean, it is advisable to be gradual on acceleration and to follow a sedate driving style.

hi, i had purchased a Hyundai Santro eRLX Xing GLS LPG, but someone told me that it has a very poor milage, it gives 8-10km/kg at LPG. Is this true? PLZ, tell me if nay one knows what is its actual milage at both LPG and PETROL. My E-MAIL id is gagan.12350@gmail.com

I bought i20 on 5th Feb.2010. As you published the car mailage is not 12 km in city and 15 km in highway. In the city limits the mailage is 11 km and highway it is 13km only. I am not a rash driver. First service is over. The thing is your authorized workshop people are not concentrating on Free Services. Like TATA Service Centres, you should keep complaint boxes.
