I am having a linea emotion diesel since march 2010 and i crossed 45,000 km and i am getting mileage of 17 to 19 km with a/c.I personally feel that linea is a good choice

I own linea emotion pack diesel may-2010. Initially i was getting mileage of around 10.2 km/ltr. Gradually when my vehicle crossed 5000 kms it started giving me mileage around 15.5km/ltr. After 2nd service(15000kms) it is giving approx 17 km/ltr. The cooling of AC is good. Gr88 pickup.. I personally don't feel like others that linea is a bad choice.
All it depends on how you drive your vehicle.

Folks, I drive Linea Emotion Petrol version and this car is solid and drive is enjoyable when you cruze beyond 60 +.... Mileage is around 11.6 which is good considering Mumbai Traffic...
Overall a happy experience !

I am getting a mileage of 6km/l and some times even less than 6km/l in Kolkata on a Petrol variant. What can have gone wrong...? Any suggestions

A very dissatisfied client of Linea… here are my inputs of the Car and the Service quality:-
- A/c Functioning is pathetic and Delhi heat seems to be excuse from the showroom
- Pick up of the car in the first 3 gears… seems like u have a truck on hand pulling weights
- The Emotion Petrol Version is what I own and have already logged in 6000 kms… no improvement on mileage … giving me b/w 10.5 to 11.2 km/L with A/C in city driving
- The Rama Motors okhla services sucks.. you send the car in for one thing and they spoil the other … the owner's excuse … "We are use to servicing and managing Indica clients i.e.: the taxi driver clan" Poor attitude to top it all

I am having Linea Dynamic Petrol. I am getting mileage of 7.75 km/lit. in Mumbai City. I had approached the service centres twice regarding the mileage problem. However, the problem is not sorted out.

I have completed 15000 kms in Linea in the last 10 months. I have got peak mileage of 13.5 and 12.5 overall. In the city i have got 10-11. I have been very impressed with the ride handling and overall comfort of the car. Infact on long drives with full load, i have driven above 120kmph and overtaken some fast running cars.

Fiat Linea Mileage
Fiat Linea is a sedan version of Fiat Grande Punto and it is the only sedan of the brand in the country. Following the success of the car, the company has introduced additional variants. Fiat Linea T-Jet is a recently launched variant that comes with a powerful engine.
Fiat Linea is available in both petrol and diesel engines with five speed manual gearbox transmission option. The petrol Linea comes with 1.4 litre, four cylinders 16 valve engine with a displacement of 1368 cc. The FIRE petrol engine mated with DOHC technology, claims to make the acceleration smoother and that in turn increase Fiat Linea`s mileage. The petrol version can give a mileage of 12 KMPL in city and on 16 KMPL on highways.
The diesel variant of Linea is equipped with 1.3 litre MultiJet VGT diesel engine, with a displacement of 1248 cc. It has the capacity to produce a peak power of 93 bhp at 4000 rpm and maximum torque of 209 Nm at 2000 rpm. Fiat Linea`s mileage figure ranges from 14 KMPL in city to 19 KMPL on highways.
