My tips for better mileage.
1. Drive at ease
2. Apply clutch only when necessary
3. Do not drive rash because that will keep your brakes engaged and in turn impact your milage
4. Enjoy your drive and be safe. Punto rocks :)

it is pretty good car. but more suitable for free roads which r hard to find. highway if u drive below 100 speed u will get 20-21 but if u drive above 100 u will get 17-18

Punto seems to give me the best mileage between 80-110 kmph. Above 110, it drops to around 18-19 kmpl on highways.

Fiat Grande Punto Mileage
Fiat Grande Punto was launched in India in 2009 by Fiat. It is a global car that comes with Euro Ncap 5-star rating and the design of the car is very impressive as it is crafted by the known Italian designer Giorgetto Giugiaro. In India the car is available in both petrol and diesel engines.
The petrol version of this car comes with 1.2 litre FIRE petrol engine with a displacement of 1172 cc and 1.4 liter FIRE petrol engine with the displacement of 1368 cc. The former version has the capacity to churn out maximum power of 68 bhp at 6000 rpm and maximum torque of 96 Nm at 2500 rpm. The 1.4 litre engine version has the capacity to churn out maximum power of 90 bhp at 6000 rpm and maximum torque of 115 Nm at 4500 rpm. Fiat Grande Punto`s mileage figure ranges from 12 KMPL in city to 16 KMPL on highways.
The diesel engine comes with 1.3 liter multijet VGT engine with the displacement of 1248 cc. This variant offers a mileage of 14 KMPL in city and 19 KMPL on highways.
