To improve milage avoid using AC auto mode in city and use proper gear shift...

2008 may purchase lt petrol high end model. mileage never as claimed by manufacturer. dealer changed sparkplugs, adjusted valve gaps changed filter and hoped for the best but will never give more than 10-11 in city with ac. long distance around 14-15. good small car but what use if mileage is that of a bigger old technology ambassador equivalent.

in chennai the petrol rate is rs 70/lit,i ll refuel for 500 rs and go till mahabalipuram,(50 km from my home) and return,with ac on for alternate 10/km, it gives good mileage as far now.the thing is gear shift has to be proper and maintain the speed level, and most importantly drive on smooth roads.

Cheque your Car Cross Beam of your Spark LT as it will be rusty and provided by company.I cheked surprisingly in my old Spark Lt(2008) and newer version(2011).Other companies providing it with proper painted and thats why i am giving a slogan rusted parts inside and sparkling part outside to pleased customer at value price.its really shame for company like GM for doing like this.

I bought Chevy Spark 1 year back and have driven 1000 kms. But I feel that the mileage is too low. I always drive with AC and within the city and the mileage I'm getting is just 7-8. I think it's too bad!!! Really sad!

When I bought the car i was getting 8 KMPH(on LPG)without AC. I learnt driving on the car. After I became comfortable, I am getting around 11 in city (Hyderabad). I completed around 2K KM. Last week I drove to Hyd airport and on that road i got around 20 KMPL. I am confident that after my second service it will further increase... Its really amazing that I get the milage on LPG.

i have a beat ls petrol...i used that sice feb 2011.....now i got a milege of 15.5 on city and 18 on highway...if we maitain the rpm in between 1750-2500 we ll surely get good milege...beat is a superb car with awsome powe..i can attain maximum speed of 150km/h..

Beat has very low mileage of around 11-12 in city and around 13 on highway and that even without AC and there is no point of complaing as dealer will tell you check by one way or other but this problem is going to continue. So i will recommend people not to buy this car

With 50K driving experience, drive at 1500-1800 RPM to get 14-city & 17-Highways with AC. At 2000 RPM, you might end up with 12 and 16 repectively

Guys, I own a Spark LT since May 2011. It gives me 19-20 kmpl in highways with AC. I am happy with it. Yes! I have heard from people long back that spark doesnt give millage. but i think 2011 built chevy has good engine.

I have tried every bit to know proper milage. After consulting every bit with service , I still drive at 8.5 - 9 km /lt. It is very very disappointing. I tried cleaning of throttle body and injectors, even got the map sensor changed. It was futile. Though I like the car otherwise, but if I knew about this average thing .. I would have taken other car. It is 3 years and 6 months old and driven only 19000 km. I am very upset. No one is really helping out at Cheverolet. They claim that everything is okay they want me to go for a test drive with them and pay 600 rs for that. I think that again is a wastage. I have lost total confidence in these people.

With AC I am getting 13 mileage (partly on city roads and rest on highways). Without AC it is likely to get it improved. With proper gear and less use of clutch etc. can try for more mileaage

I purchased this car for comparatively good looks and compact size. However my desire to own this car was fueled by chevy sales quoting the mileage to be more than 25 kmpl. lately I realized this to be only 10.5 kmpl in city and 14 on highway.On the other hand even the top gear is also not so powerful and I feel difficult to boost start in ramp signal crossings. I have to somehow manage it with half gear acceleration.

The fuel efficiency of that car is very poor.I bought it 9th july,2011. From 9 to 27 july the car runs 270 kms with 40lts of petrol (with out AC).that means mileage =6.75kms/ltr.when the dealer assured us the car giving minimum 12kms/ltr..Not satisfactory at all....

while driving your car try to roll up the mirrors(especially on highways) as it increases ur mileage. drive at a specified speed given to u by the company. much speed than the limit costs more petrol

If we maintain RPM under 2000 Chevrolet Beat gives you great mileage(16-18.5)

I own spark LT. My car gives an average of 14kmpl in city and 18 in highways with 50% of time AC on. Only Alto K10 has better than this. My advice is shift the gear from 1 to 3 directly when u r driving in city traffic. Try to avoid 2 nd gear. It works...try that...happy driving

I tried Spark L.T. With AC and with out AC. I dont feel any difference in mileage. Local i got 16 km / lit. and highway i got 19 Km / lit. speed avg. in high way is 80-90 km / hr. I felt happy with its performance. Reason is this car is the low budget car with rich look and experienced.

In Pune's traffic condition mileage is low but on highways if it is @ the speed of 70-90 I have got mileage upto 20 without ac. This car can be driven in top gear even at the speed of 30 and no need to change gear , slowly it picks up the speed without acceleration

I own a white beat LT purchased on 22mar2010, i am happy with its mileage which delivers anything between 14.5-15.25kms/ltrs. 2 things i am unhappy about beat 1)Pickup while A/c on is lagging, 2)3yrs maintenance free option not given to us, As We trusted blindly and bought the car, when it was launched there is no credibility for us, hope the GM Sales & marketing people will look to this request and extend the maintenace scheme to the existing customers also.

I purchased beat LS 9n February 2010. Till now run only 2600kms. Mileage I got around 15 in City and around 19.50 with AC in Highway. I travelled all tough roads. Driving/Riding comfort is excellent. Problems are with road view (near), back seat less thysupport, gear not so smooth in some times. Overall very good vehicle. Power, style, comfort excellent.

Many people reported 8 to 12 kmpl... I think their checking method is wrong. Procedure: Fill ur tank till it overflows. Set ur trip meter to zero. Once the tank is close to empty again refill ur tank. No note the fuel u filled from petrol pump and km covered from ur trip meter...it will give u exact mileage... I am getting 13.1 in city and 16.2 in highway. Totally covered 2500 kms... Reasonably good mileage know?
